R. Koemanas: The Penalty Kick Was Very Clear © SIPA

"Barcelona" team's head coach Ronald Koeman failed to lead his team to an important victory. In yesterday's "El Clasico" match, the visitors had to admit Madrid's "Real" advantage with a score of 1:2 and diminished their chances to become "La Liga" champions. According to the Dutch coach, the match outcome was also influenced by the referee, who did not award a penalty kick in the 83rd minute when Martin Braithwaite fell in the penalty area. "We are outraged by this situation and the lack of punishment towards 'Real'. This is unfair play. I don't understand how a penalty kick cannot be awarded," Koeman gestured with frustration. "I always ask referees to remain fair. The penalty kick was very clear and only four minutes of stoppage time were added, even though the referee had issues with his equipment and the match was delayed."
