French hero in the World Cup, Randal Kolo Muani will remember that fateful episode for the rest of his life.
The 24-year-old striker had a great opportunity to secure victory for the French national team in the last minute of the World Cup final, but his shot was brilliantly saved by Emiliano Martinez.
Then the teams went into a penalty shootout, where the Argentine footballers emerged victorious.
"That episode still lingers in my throat, it will stay for life," the Eintracht striker told "beIN Sports France."
R. Kolo Muani currently shines in the Bundesliga, where he has scored 7 goals and provided 10 assists in 17 matches.
