Robert Lewandowski, speaking to the journalist of "Bild", openly revealed why he considered leaving Bayern Munich this summer.
It's no secret that R. Lewandowski urged his new agent after the season to start negotiations with other clubs for a possible transfer, but the Bavarians resisted such a move. However, after a conversation with the management, the Pole decided to stay and recently brought the first season title with his "hat-trick".
"In April, I felt like everyone was turning away from me, and the club didn't provide any support, I felt very lonely. I remember that I couldn't score in two or three important matches and everyone started blaming me. No one was on my side, not even the coach stood up for me," - shared the Pole with his memories.
"I had agreed with my agent that we would talk to Bayern about leaving. I felt like I had only been playing in the club for a year and hadn't achieved anything before that.
However, we resolved everything peacefully and now I return to the team with all my heart. I felt that the fans in Munich are on my side and they still want me in the team. I had already forgotten about the idea of leaving elsewhere", - added R. Lewandowski.
