In recent times, Lionel Messi's return to Barcelona is brewing.
The Argentine does not want to negotiate with PSG for a new contract, and his departure to the USA or Saudi Arabia is currently not of interest. Therefore, one remaining option is a return to Catalonia.
The "Barca" club still needs to sort out their financial data in order to make such a grandiose return possible, but Robert Lewandowski hopes that he will play with Messi next season.
"Lionel Messi's place is at Barcelona and if he returns, it will be something unreal. We know that his place is here, in Barcelona."
"I'm not sure what will happen, but I hope we will play together next season," the Polish player told "Mundo Deportivo".
This season R. Lewandowski is the top scorer in La Liga with 17 goals.
