The leader of the Polish national team, Robert Lewandowski, criticized his team mates after the unsuccessful match against Colombia.
In yesterday's Group H clash, Poland lost to Colombia with a score of 0-3 and lost any chance of advancing to the next stage. R. Lewandowski is convinced that with this Polish team, nothing good could be achieved in this championship.
"Perhaps that was all we could do in these matches," said the Polish star. "Let's be honest - we lost fair and square. We tried to do our best, but at this moment it simply wasn't enough."
"Many things that were supposed to happen in this championship didn't happen. I was alone... We fought, I fought. I did everything I could, but the fight wasn't enough. To achieve something in the World Cup, you must have quality in the team, and we had very little of it," added the "Bayern" club star.
The Polish national team will play their last match in the World Cup against Japan on Thursday.
