On Friday, the 13th round of the German Bundesliga championship started, with the first matches played.
"Mainz" faced off against Munich's "Bayern" team in front of their own fans. The hosts took the lead first, but they were unable to hold on to their advantage - the Bavarians celebrated a 3-1 victory.
In the 4th minute, "Mainz" took the lead, but in the 8th minute Robert Lewandowski equalized. In the 21st minute, the guests were pushed ahead by Arjen Robben.
For the rest of the time, there was a fierce battle on the field, but the final word was said at the end of the match by R. Lewandowski scoring his second goal.
With their second consecutive win, "Bayern" temporarily regained the leader position. "Leipzig" will have the opportunity to gain a three-point advantage over Bavarians this weekend.
