Liverpool's "Everton" forward Romelu Lukaku should soon put his signature on a new contract with the club.
The 23-year-old Belgian will become the highest-paid player in the team's history and will earn 100,000 pounds sterling a week.
The current player's contract is valid until mid-2019 and guarantees one-quarter lower weekly earnings.
However, "Everton" fans should not rejoice - the club has included a possible buyout clause in the contract, which amounts to 80 million pounds sterling. This option is expected to be taken advantage of by Paris Saint-Germain, closely monitoring the situation next summer.
In this Premier League season, R.Lukaku scored 9 goals in 15 matches.
