Belgian Romelu Lukaku returned to the Premier League this summer after spending nearly nine years away. During those nine years, he played for four different teams: West Bromwich, Liverpool's Everton, London's Chelsea, and Manchester United clubs. Of course, he initially belonged to the Chelsea team, which he returned to this summer. But his time at Manchester United for two years was not very enjoyable for him. "I would only leave Inter for Chelsea. Kids love Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid. But for me, there is only Chelsea, and everyone knows what Chelsea means to me. If they inquire about me, why should I refuse? I understood that Chelsea's intentions were serious when they presented the third offer. At first, it was 100 million euros, then 105 million, and then 110 million. Then I realized it was serious," Lukaku said. "I was in a big hole at Manchester United, and Inter pulled me out of it. I didn't want to behave unfairly and betray the club. So after training, I went to Inzaghi's office (Inter's manager). I didn't want to spoil the team atmosphere since I was already not in Milan in my head. So I asked Simone: please, find an agreement." Lukaku also mentioned the conditions when he returned to Chelsea: "The first two training sessions were so intense that even the first two or three days I was a little scared. But two days before the first match, we had a training session where I scored two goals, and I thought, this is it. The team looks great, the coach is good, I like the system because this is how we play in the Belgian national team, just the details are different. It's fantastic for me because I play in a team that dominates," Lukaku told NHL. With Inter Milan, Lukaku scored 47 goals in Serie A over two seasons, provided 13 assists, and won the Scudetto. Now, a completely new challenge awaits the Belgian at Chelsea, where he will be the main striker, and all eyes will be on him.
