R. Lukaku: "Shaw could become one of the best full-backs in the world"

Having forgotten heavy injuries and career setbacks, "Manchester United" defender Luke Shaw is currently one of the most stable players in the team.

Last autumn, the 23-year-old defender signed a new contract with the club and after a longer break, he was again called up to the England national football team.

A great season is also enjoyed by the team mate Romelu Lukaku, who claims Shaw has always had the potential to be one of the best left-backs in the world.

"Shaw has been playing superbly since the beginning of the season.

During the summer, we kept in touch and I remember he sent me videos of him running on the track. At that time I was at the World Cup in Russia and in those videos I saw a man who was preparing to come back and become even better.

Shaw scored a goal in the first game of the season against "Leicester City" and has been progressing ever since. He is ready to play even twice a week.

Shaw has always had the potential to be one of the best left-backs in the world," - said R. Lukaku in an interview with "Manchester Evening News".
