R. Lukaku: "There were always three scapegoats in Manchester - me, Alexis, and Pogba"

In Milan, at "Inter" this summer, Romelu Lukaku stated that playing at "Manchester United" club in the last years became a real torment.

In the podcast, the Belgian national team sniper also revealed that due to poor results, all the criticism fell only on the shoulders of three footballers.

"They always had to find a scapegoat," the Belgian said. "Most often it was Pogba, me or Alexis. It was always about the three of us."

"You always have to find someone to blame. I raised my hand, but I don't think I was the only one who played poorly last year. Most were in bad form, but only one was to blame.

"What more could I do if I was guilty for all the problems?" said the player. "This team has so much potential and talent, but football is not just that. You have to create a real team," he continued.

Asked whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not see him as a suitable striker for his system, R. Lukaku replied: "Most people thought the same. I felt it from the first day we talked about it."

What amused me the most was the fact that I played excellently in the national team, but not in the club. So, was I not that bad?"
