Liverpool's "Everton" and Belgian national team striker Romelu Lukaku revealed that he could have moved to Turin's "Juventus" team in the summer, but he rejected the offer.
"I could have gone to Italy and worn the champions' jersey, but I stayed here because it's too early for me to play in the Serie A league. I won't be able to develop there," said the 23-year-old footballer.
"Now 'Everton' is led by a new coach who is very different from Roberto Martinez. Under Ronaldo Koeman's leadership, I think we can progress.
Football is not about money for me, I want to win trophies. I will try to stay focused and respect my team. Hopefully, if the situation improves, the door will be open for me to leave," said Lukaku.
