Former "Manchester City" manager Roberto Mancini believes that Carlos Tevez, who will join the ranks of Turin's "Juventus" club, will meet the expectations placed on him.

On Tuesday evening, influential Italian, English, and Argentine newspapers reported that both clubs had agreed on a transfer worth 12 million euros.

According to unofficial information, the Argentine player is expected to undergo a medical examination on Thursday and will sign a three-year contract worth 5.5 million euros.

"Carlos is an extraordinary player. He can change the course of a match, he has exceptional technique and talent," R. Mancini praised his former protege. "I have no doubt that he will do well at Juventus. I can't wait to see him play in the Italian championship."

Mancini's relationship with Tevez at Manchester City was far from the best. During a UEFA Champions League match against Bayern Munich in 2011, the striker refused to follow the Italian manager's instructions to warm up.

The 29-year-old footballer often received fines for not fulfilling contract terms. Tevez's most memorable incident at the City club was his unauthorized departure to his homeland without notifying the club management and coaches.
