Former England striker Rodney Marsh has stated that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is better than Manchester United attacking midfielder Angel Di Maria and valued him at £100 million, which is equivalent to 147 million euros.
This season's "Spurs" leader has scored 29 goals in all competitions, and in his debut for the England national team, he beat Lithuanian goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis less than a minute after appearing on the pitch.
"I guess his value is £100 million. I sincerely believe that," Marsh told talkSport. "If I were a football club manager, I would agree to pay exactly that amount for Harry Kane."
"I think he promises to continue performing well and become a better player than Alan Shearer."
"Manchester City paid £32 million for the relatively inexperienced young footballer Eliaquim Mangala. If Mangala is worth £32 million, Harry Kane is definitely worth a hundred."
"Angel Di Maria left Manchester United for £62 million. In my opinion, Kane is a much better player in the Premier League than him."
England's national team manager Roy Hodgson previously revealed that the 21-year-old striker will make his debut in the national team's starting lineup in tonight's friendly match against Italy.
