The head coach of the Belgian national team, Roberto Martinez, believes that besides Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Eden Hazard is more important to his teams.
Despite the fact that Chelsea is not showing the best results this season, E. Hazard is at one of the best stages of his career - in 21 games he has scored 10 goals and made 9 assists.
"On the international football arena, I have seen only one player who plays so consistently. Apart from Messi and Ronaldo, I don't think there could be a more important player for his teams than Hazard," R. Martinez said.
"Eden won the league title with Lille, which was hard to imagine at the time. Then he came to Chelsea and became the Premier League champion twice with different coaching projects.
"He was the leader of the team that won bronze at the World Cup. He shows consistency and that he is at the best point in his career," the coach praised his protégé.
There are many rumors circulating in the media that E. Hazard will try to show his full potential next summer by moving to Real Madrid in Madrid.
