R. Martinez: we want to create more opportunities for the French

At the European Football Championship - another special match.

On Friday in the quarterfinal stage of EURO 2024 in Hamburg, Portugal and France will face off at 10:00 pm.

Before the match, Portuguese coach Roberto Martinez said:

"We are focused and prepared for the match against the French. They are very strong, but maybe they will leave spaces in their defensive lines.

France can pose problems, but I hope we will create more scoring opportunities. In the tournament, a new detail has emerged - you can win in a penalty shootout and threaten with individual mastery."

According to French coach Didier Deschamps, quality play on the field doesn't surprise anyone these days.

"We have high-level and talented players, but many others can also boast without us.

Everyone is progressing and among these equivalents there is one common thing - demonstrating top-level athleticism."
