After a 16-year hiatus, Belgian Radja Nainggolan returned to play in Belgium. Well, the truth is, he never played professionally there, but 16 years ago Radja left the academy of Antwerp's "Beerschot" club, and in 2013 this club ceased to exist. However, after 16 years R. Nainggolan finally managed to return to Antwerp and there he will represent the "Royal" team, which plays in the highest division in Belgium, and will soon compete in the qualification for entry into the Europa League. So, the Belgian officially left the "Inter" team as a free agent. With the Antwerp "Royal" club, R. Nainggolan signed a 2-year contract. The 33-year-old midfielder was one of the most prominent midfielders in the Serie A over the past decade, especially when he played for the Roma team. Playing for "AS Roma" from the 2014/15 season until the 2017/18 season in the Serie A, R. Nainggolan scored 26 goals and made 17 assists. He also represented the Milan "Inter" and "Cagliari" teams in Serie A. With the "Cagliari" team, R. Nainggolan started and ended his career in Italy. Radja was known for his excellent long-distance shot.
