Former London "Arsenal" footballer Ray Parlour believes that at the end of this season, Arsene Wenger may finally leave the club.
The Frenchman has been in charge of the "Gunners" since 1996 and has already become a legend. However, after last night's defeat to "Watford," the capital's footballers are already nine points behind the "Premier League" leader "Chelsea," and another title in the hands of their competitors would be a huge blow.
The current manager's contract with "Arsenal" is valid until the end of this season, and the Frenchman said he will decide on his fate based on the final results.
"He will know if he has not done a good job this season, so I think he will step down," Parlour told talkSPORT.
"He wouldn't go higher. I think he would just go back to France.
"I don't believe he could be part of the club's board. I don't think he's that type of person."
Arsenal missed a great opportunity to fight for the English champions' title last season when they sensationally triumphed in the league "Leicester City".
