"Porto" defender Ricardo Pereira arrived to undergo a medical examination at "Leicester City" club, wrote "Sport Witness", negotiations for this player's transfer have been ongoing for several months.
The first rumors about a possible transfer of the Portuguese to the "foxes" appeared at the end of March, and in April "Sport Witness" sources revealed that the English club had already contacted the player's representatives.
Finally, a few days ago, the Portuguese newspaper "A Bola" announced that Pereira will be sold for a sum of 20 million euros, which could rise to 25 million.
Today, "Sport Witness" sources already report on the ongoing examination, after which the contract will be signed.
Pereira's current contract with "Porto" is valid only until next summer, so the club will be able to rejoice in receiving a significant transfer fee. Specifically, a 25 million euro buyout was indicated as a necessary condition for the defender to move elsewhere.
This season, the 24-year-old player played a total of 43 matches, scoring two goals and making seven assists.
