Former London Arsenal defender Robert Pires believes that his club should focus on the UEFA Europa League.
"The Gunners" will face "Ostersunds" in the second leg of the round of sixteen tomorrow, where their progression to the next stage is almost certain.
However, in the English Premier League, Arsene Wenger's players are playing very inconsistently and this year they may again fail to make it to the top four.
"The Europa League should already be Arsenal's priority," Pires told "The Sun".
"The goal is to do what 'Manchester United' did last season - they are a good example.
"United" won the Europa League and went straight to the Champions League - it is very important for Arsenal to aim in this direction.
"These are trophies, good trophies, so it is very important. In order to make it to the Champions League, this season is Arsenal's last chance.
"Unfortunately, but if you look at the table, reaching the top four for Arsenal is very difficult.
"I want to see Arsenal playing in the Champions League again. However, with teams like Tottenham, Liverpool, and Chelsea ahead of them, it is very challenging.
Pires sees Atletico Madrid as the main favorites to be Arsenal's opponents in the final, but these teams still need to be wary of Glasgow Celtic.
