Former London "Arsenal" defender Robert Pires believes that the long-time team manager Arsene Wenger will not be tempted by the England national team manager's seat. According to the "Gunners" legend, the job at the club is more suitable for the personality of this strategist.
Let's remind you that the 66-year-old specialist recently celebrated a 20-year anniversary in the "Arsenal" manager's seat.
"I think he will stay, but the truth is that the England national team wants his services," said Pires.
"I say that this is - and this is only my opinion - because he likes to be on the pitch every day. When you are coaching a club and a national team, it's not the same."
"So, I believe he will stay within Arsenal."
"They think he would be an ideal person to lead this team, because they need energy and stability, especially responsibility. Considering what happened, I think there is no more responsibility left in England."
Wenger's current contract with the "Gunners" will expire at the end of this season.
