However, it seems that the German will now become a short-term coach for "Manchester United", just with additional conditions. Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that R. Rangnick told "Man Utd" executives that he would accept the short-term coaching job if in the future he could stay in the club as a consultant and have a say in future decisions in the club. "The Athletic" journalist David Ornstein previously reported that after a short-term job as head coach, the German should stay in "Man Utd" for another 2 years as a consultant. R. Rangnick is a football mind who has greatly contributed to the success of "RB Leipzig" since 2014, and now will try to contribute to the success of one of England's biggest clubs - the "Manchester United" team. However, there is still nothing official - the "Red Devils" are negotiating formalities with the Moscow "Lokomotiv" team, which still has R. Rangnick as the sporting director.
