R. Sterling explained his controversial tattoo

The English media unveiled photos capturing a new tattoo of England football star Raheem Sterling.

The Brit, who shines in the England national team training sessions, showed off a tattoo of an automatic gun on his leg. However, the footballer received a lot of criticism, as this is considered an inappropriate example for children looking up to him.

Nevertheless, R. Sterling revealed why he decided to get such a tattoo.

"When I was two years old, my father was shot dead. I promised myself that I would never touch a gun in my life. I shot my right leg, so it has a deeper meaning and it's still unfinished," the footballer wrote on his "Instagram" account.
