The new "Manchester City" acquisition Raheem Sterling believes that the "citizens" are capable of being the best team in both the Premier League and all of Europe.
The attacking midfielder officially moved to "Liverpool" last week. A whopping 65 million euros were paid for him, making Sterling the most expensive English footballer of all time.
"My decision was determined by the direction they are heading - in recent years they have come a long way," said the 20-year-old footballer. "It seems that they are really progressing and hoping to dominate in England and Europe."
"The Champions League is always a good thing. Being a young player, I want to challenge myself in the strongest tournaments, competing against the best and with the best footballers."
"This is a tournament that gives me the opportunity to showcase my skills at the highest level."
"This team has great players - it's a really good mix, but players like Aguero, Silva, and Yaya can make you even better."
