Former Dutch footballer Rafael van der Vaart is convinced that Amsterdam's "Ajax" can reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.
According to the former midfielder, everything leads to football fans witnessing a performance of two Johan Cruyff teams in the final.
"Ajax" was significantly better than "Juventus" in the second half. We often talk about the gym and how it becomes physically strong, but these players can do everything with the ball, in other words - playing smart football," the Dutchman said, according to BBC.
"I really didn't think they could go that far, but now it seems that all teams fear 'Ajax'. Cruyff is our pride and the best footballer we ever had. I am extremely happy that both his teams ('Barcelona' and 'Ajax' - ed.) are in the semi-finals.
I am 100 percent sure that they will play against each other in the final of the tournament," said R. van der Vaart.
For this to happen, "Barcelona" will have to beat the winner of the "Liverpool" - "Porto" pair in the semi-finals, while "Ajax" will face either "Tottenham" or "Man City".
