R. van Persie: 'A. Wenger is like my father in football'

The new head coach of Rotterdam's Feyenoord, Robin van Persie, revealed that he received a message from the legendary specialist and his former coach Arsène Wenger:

"A. Wenger congratulated me and wished me success. I think that is wonderful.

This specialist is like my dad in football. That's how I see the Frenchman."

Robin van Persie played for London’s Arsenal, coached by Arsène Wenger, from 2004 to 2012 and appeared in 278 matches.
