Robin van Persie does not intend to extend his contract with the London club in the near future.
The capital team would like to sign a long-term contract, but the Dutch national team player does not want to rush.
"I am satisfied with the current contract. That's right, I don't have much else to say," Van Persie said. "The most important thing is that the team plays well, and when the time is right, then we will talk.
I do not want to create a false impression, but negotiations are not taking place because we are all very busy. After all, matches are held every three to four days."
Over the weekend, the striker scored his 100th goal while wearing "Arsenal" shirts. His contract is valid until the summer of 2013.
