Dutch national team and "Manchester United" striker Robin van Persie admits that over the past few years he has constantly felt pain.
The footballer said that he does not remember such matches in the last five or six years when he did not feel any pain.
For some time, R. van Persie was treating a groin injury and it was not clear if he would recover in time for the World Cup in Brazil, but the Dutchman himself does not pay attention to such pains.
"These pains cannot even be called injuries. I have had countless injuries. Over the last five or six years, there was not a single match when I did not feel pain," - said the 30-year-old Dutchman.
"Now the groin pains no longer bother me, I am fully ready to train and play against Spain. They are a good team, but we are not inferior" - said the striker.
The clash between the Spaniards and the Dutch will take place on June 13th, Friday, at 22:00 Lithuanian time.
