Robin van Persie is ready to go through fire if needed for the Dutch national team and "Manchester United" manager Louis van Gaal.
The 30-year-old forward says he owes a lot to the head coach of the national team, and also believes that the Dutch national team can surprise the audience.
"Van Gaal has given me a lot of confidence, he made me the main striker and captain. I owe him a lot. I will be ready for anything in Brazil. Because of him, I will be able to go through fire. The whole team is determined to do the same," said the "Man Utd" forward.
"The coach has a lot of options. I think we will demonstrate something special in this championship."
In Group B of the World Cup, the Dutch will compete against Chile, Australia, and defending champion Spain.
