"Manchester United" club and the Dutch national team forward Robin van Persie believes that he will be able to play professional football until the age of 40.
Having celebrated his 31st birthday in August, the Dutchman is also convinced that he will still play in the 2018 World Cup.
"I want to play as long as possible and I plan to go to the 2018 World Cup when I will be 35. I plan to end my career at the age of 40," - said the forward.
"It may be that I will not play in such a strong club by then. During my career, I have set many goals and I want to achieve all of them," - added R.Van Persie.
During his career, the Dutchman played for "Feyenoord", London's "Arsenal" and "Man Utd" clubs.
