Madrid's "Real" defender Raphael Varane, together with the team, is preparing for the crucial battle of the season.
This Saturday, in Cardiff, the 2016-17 season UEFA Champions League final will take place, in which Madrid's "Real" team will face a match against Turin's "Juventus".
The 24-year-old "white" defender, who will be playing in his third final, is expecting a tough battle, but believes that they can make history - defending the Champions League title.
"We are very happy to have the opportunity to compete for the title. Personally, I feel excited to have the chance to play in the third final in the last four years. It would be something special if we could defend the title.
This season we are already satisfied, as we won "La Liga". The team spirit is great, and we are all ready for something special," R. Varane said.
"We are facing a tough battle, but we have experience in such matches. We know that details can determine everything here, but we also know that the fight is not over until the final minute.
"Juventus" is somewhat similar to "Atletico". We know that "Juventus" has a great defense, which only conceded three goals in the Champions League this season. But our team is also strong, especially in attack," added the defender.
