Madrid's "Real" center-back Raphael Varane confirmed that he will defend the honor of the royal club next season.
After a very unsuccessful season, Madrid's club is expecting quite a few changes next summer, and one of the contenders to leave the team was the 26-year-old Frenchman.
However, speaking to "Marca," R. Varane revealed that he does not intend to change clubs next summer.
"I will play in Madrid next season as well. I have no doubt that we will experience completely different emotions.
"This season we tried and fought with all our might, so we can't blame anyone. It must be admitted that we simply lacked that extra spark in difficult moments.
Personally, it was not a successful season for me either, but I am ready to once again show my best version," said R. Varane.
This season, the defender played 43 matches in the ranks of "Real" and scored 2 goals.
