"TOPsport A League” Round 31 started with a very emotional clash in Alytus between the local DFK "Dainava” and Marijampolė’s "Sūduva.” The match was halted after the first half with the visitors leading 2:1.

During the halftime break, an incident occurred as the referees were leaving the field, after which it was decided to suspend the match. The Lithuanian Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee will make a decision regarding the outcome of this match.

The Alytus radio station FM99 also shared its opinion on the incident, writing on social media (language unedited):

"It is evident that the TOPsport A League referee Orestas Abramavičius was unable to control the situation during the match and made a series of incomprehensible decisions, resulting in the match being stopped. During the first half, the Dainava players were shown A TOTAL OF 4 red cards!”
