Radunovičius: we have a nice series of victories

The football club "Panevėžys" will play its last match in front of its fans in the fourth round of the "TOPsport A league". The 34th round marks a confrontation between neighboring teams in the standings – the Panevėžys team will face FA "Šiauliai".

The position of the representatives from the City of the Sun in the league table is slightly better. In 32 matches, they have achieved 9 wins, drawn 12 times, and lost 11, accumulating 39 points and sitting in 5th place. The team from the capital of Aukštaitija ranks one step below – with 37 points from 33 matches.

The teams recently met in a postponed match in Šiauliai, where the opponents demonstrated their superiority with a score of 2:1. The first encounter ended in a draw at 1:1, while in the second match, Panevėžys defeated the opponents 2:0. On Sunday, due to suspension, defender Rokas Rasimavičius will be unable to play.

Before the Sunday match, the forward Pavle Radunovičius, who debuted in Šiauliai and has already played five matches, shared his thoughts on the fk-panevezys.lt website.

"I am satisfied with my performance and that of the entire team; we have a nice streak of results that we need to extend in the last home match.

The upcoming opponent is very strong and organized, so it will be interesting to watch the match. We will try to do everything to win and secure our survival, and then maybe we will look at higher positions in the league table," said the Serbian.

The match between "Panevėžys" and FA "Šiauliai" will take place on October 27, Sunday. The confrontation will start at 18:25 and will be broadcasted by the LRT Plius channel.
