Jonava's "Vikingai" struggled to win 6:4 against "Akmenė", while Mažeikiai VIP, still without Edgar Baranauskas, won 4:0 against "Šiauliai". This season, Mažeikiai did not concede a single goal for the first time in matches. After losing the opening match of the season, "Radviliškis" representatives managed to secure four victories in the next nine matches, drew twice, and lost three times. This result allowed the team to rise to seventh place in the tournament table. On Wednesday, the residents of Radviliškis scored the first goal, but towards the end of the first half and the beginning of the second, Deivydas Matulevičius and Vytautas Lukša turned the tide. Only "Radviliskis" scored more goals during the remaining time. "Dainava" remained fifth in the tournament table, but the gap from the leading quartet is already significant. The championship leaders Jonava's "Vikingai", although leading for a large part of the game, did not easily defeat "Akmenė". Jurijus Jeremejevas scored three goals for the winners, bringing his tally to twenty accurate strikes. Scoring two goals in the first and second halves, Mažeikiai secured a convincing victory against "Šiauliai". VIP's three points moved them further away from "Šiauliai" in the tournament standings, but the Šiauliai team still have a reserve of two unplayed matches.
