In the Scottish Championship on Saturday, the hosts celebrated victories - all four matches held after goals in the second half were won by the home teams, all of which improved their position in the tournament table - "Rangers" and "Aberdeen" surpassed the "Hearts" team after their victories and share 2-3 places, "Hibernian" rose to the 5th position, and the previously bottom-ranked "Dundee Utd" jumped to the 10th place.

The crisis-stricken Glasgow "Rangers" met the outsider "Dunfermline" at home and dominated in the first half, but failed to score and were booed by their own fans. However, in the middle of the second half, after receiving a pass from Dado Pršo, Kris Boyd, who appeared on the field after a substitution, led the hosts forward, and "Rangers" secured the victory after another pass from D.Pršo, this time by Steven Smith.

The "Aberdeen" club, on equal points with "Rangers", won against "Motherwell" once again this season in the final moments of the match. In the beginning of the second half, the hosts took the lead after a precise strike by Jamie Smith from the penalty area, but the margin lasted only six minutes, as a mistake by goalkeeper Jamie Langfield resulted in an own goal by the hosts' player Michael Hart. However, with just four minutes left in the match, "Aberdeen" clinched the victory with a 2-1 scoreline after a close-range shot by Lee Miller.

"Hibernian" from Edinburgh, with 19 points in the 5-7 positions, shared the victory with their table neighbor "Inverness". The goals in the capital came in the second half of the match - the first one was scored by Steven Fletcher with a precise shot from 13 meters, and the second one was added in the 83rd minute as a penalty kick by Chris Killen. Meanwhile, inspired by their new coach Craig Levein, "Dundee United" beat "Kilmarnock" 1-0 after the only goal by Noel Hunt in the 71st minute and secured their second consecutive victory.

In Sunday's match, "St Mirren" will face the reigning league champion and current league leader Glazgo "Celtic", while on Monday, Edinburgh "Hearts" will have a chance to return to the 2nd place as they play against "Falkirk" away.
