On Sunday the last round of the 28th round of the country's football championship took place in Scotland. In it, the closest pursuers of "Hearts" "Hibernian" lost two points, playing away with "Dundee Utd", while "Rangers" occupying the second place at home surpassed "Falkirk".

Edinburgh's "Hibernian" in the match against "Dundee Utd" already had a great opportunity in the 4th minute, but goalkeeper Guillaume Beuzelin hit the crossbar. Later, from afar, the visitors' defender David Murphy struck dangerously.

After the break, "Hibernian" could break through, but a very dangerous shot by Steven Whittaker was blocked by Derek Stillie, and in the 75th minute, Shelton Martinson's long shot missed next to the goalpost.

However, "Dundee Utd" almost snatched victory at the end of the match, but the dangerous shot from striker Neoli Hunt from 12 meters was repelled by the home team's goalkeeper Simon Brown, who did very little work until then.

Glasgow's "Rangers" hosted "Falkirk".

After a quiet start of the match, the blue team's attacks intensified one after another towards the visitors' goal. The first goal fell in the 34th minute. After a long pass from Allan Hutton, Kris Boyd burst into the penalty area and sent the ball into the bottom corner of the goal.

In the 51st minute, "Falkirk" launched a quick and dangerous attack, which ended with Glasgow club goalkeeper Allan McGregor repelling a dangerous shot from Carlo Finnigan from the left attacking flank.

Although "Rangers" attacked more frequently and dangerously, "Falkirk" did not give up in the middle of the field, and sometimes responded with dangerous attacks. At one point, an equalizing goal was scored. Alan Gow passed the ball to the edge of the penalty area, where Carlos Finnigan, taking advantage of the carelessness of the "Rangers" defenders, found himself free and entered the penalty area scoring the equalizer.

This turn of events did not satisfy "Rangers". The hosts went on the attack, and after 10 minutes they were in the lead again. In the 73rd minute, Charlie Adam lifted the ball into the penalty area from the right, and a confusion ensued near the visitors' goal. Initially, Kasper Schmeichel repelled the shot from Sasa Papac, but the ball bounced to Barry Ferguson on the right, who sent it into the top corner of the goal with a strong shot.

A missed goal and a second yellow card for defender Thomas Scobbie a few minutes later broke "Falkirk". There were no more goals scored, and "Rangers", winning three points, reduced the gap from "Celtic" to 19 points.
