Scotland's "Premier" League Cup (also known as the CIS Cup) final on Sunday Glasgow "Rangers" crushed the "Motherwell" team and won this trophy for the 24th time in the club's history.

On the way to the final, "Rangers" beat "Dundee Utd" with a score of 7-1, while "Motherwell" defeated the "Lithuanian" Edinburgh "Hearts" club in dramatic extra time.

In the match held at Glasgow's "Hampden Park" stadium, "Rangers" dominated the entire game, and important steps towards victory were taken in the first ten minutes, when M.Ross lobbed the opponent goalkeeper and S.Kyrgiakos scored with a header.

Although in the 13th minute D.Partridge narrowed the gap, F.Ricksen restored his team's advantage with a penalty kick in the 33rd minute. At the beginning of the second half, N.Novo scored another goal and practically secured the victory, while towards the end of the match S.Kyrgiakos scored again, making the result overwhelming.
