Former "Hoffenheim" coach Ralf Rangnick is interested in taking over the club's helm, BBC reports.
The German is linked to the possibility of replacing Roy Hodgson, who has been criticized for the team's disappointing results.
According to the coach, who recently became unemployed, his agent Oliver Mintzlaff said that his client has already attracted interest from three clubs - one from England and two from Germany.
"Ralf is a big fan of the Premier League, so he is interested in Liverpool and it is likely that he could work there," said the agent. "However, there have been no negotiations or meetings yet."
"If he had to choose between Germany and England, Rangnick would choose England."
The coach left Hoffenheim after four and a half years, following a conflict with owner Dietmar Hopp. During his tenure, he helped the club rise from the third division to the highest division.
His goal was to secure a spot in European cup competitions, but Rangnick handed in his resignation after the owner decided to sell one of the team's leaders, Luiz Gustavo, to Bayern Munich.
