Ranieri dismissed from Inter coach duties © EuroFootball.com

The head coach of Milan, Claudio Ranieri, was fired on Monday evening. He will be replaced by Andrea Stramaccioni, who has been leading the youth team until the end of the season.

The patience of the club's leaders was overflowed by the weekend's loss of 0-2 to Turin's "Juventus" team.

The specialist appointed in September initially achieved good results, but in the last ten matches only managed to secure one victory. In the league table, "Inter" is currently in 8th place, trailing the third position that guarantees a ticket to the Champions League by 10 points.

Furthermore, the Milan team could achieve an unwanted record, as they have already suffered 12 losses this season. The worst result was in the 1947-1948 season, when they lost 13 times.

After the season, former London "Chelsea" strategist Andre Villas-Boas will be a candidate to take over the reins of "Inter".
