Strategist Claudio Ranieri assures that Francesco Totti remains a central figure in his future plans.
The team captain has not been included in the starting lineup several times this season, as Ranieri rotates and gives opportunities to Marco Borriello, Mirko Vučinić, Jeremy Menez, and Adriano. There have been rumors that Totti is unhappy with this situation.
"As far as I know, Totti has a contract valid for another four years as a footballer, and later he will remain in the club as one of the leaders," stated Ranieri.
"He is 'Roma.' I cannot imagine the team without Totti, so Francesco remains at the center of my future plans."
