Raulis sees himself in the coach's seat of Madrid's "Real"

One of the biggest legends of Madrid's "Real" club, Raul, has big plans for the future.

In an interview with the newspaper "Marca," the 42-year-old Spaniard revealed that his biggest aspiration as a coach is to one day become the main strategist of the Madrid "Real" team.

Raul was asked about his future goals after another Madrid "Real" legend, Jorge Valdano, wrote in his publication: "I think that from Raul, Real will get their own Guardiola and Simeone."

Responding to these words from the Argentine, Raul, who has been coaching the second "Real" team this season, said: "My relationship with Jorge has always been special. Next week will mark 25 years since I made my debut at Real and it was just his opinion piece.

Everything I am striving for now is to prove that I can get my chance in the future. I am extremely happy to be at home and in my club.

Right now, I am fully focused on 'Castilla.' I am trying to instill the core values of Madrid's "Real" club in the players. As for what will happen later, I simply don't think about it now," added Raul, who has been working in the academy since 2018.
