Legendary Madrid "Real" team striker Raul has been elevated to coach.
"Marca" reports that the 41-year-old Spaniard will take over the youth team "Juvenil B" of the royal club, which decided to part ways with coach Alvaro Benito.
The latter was fired for inappropriate comments on television and radio.
Meanwhile, Raul returned to "Real" three years ago and worked with promising young players.
The sniper defended the colors of the Madrid team from 1994 to 2010 and scored a total of 323 goals.
