At the Spanish "Copa del Rey" tournament, the first participants of the semi-finals were determined. "Rayo Vallecano" defeated "RCD Mallorca" with a score of 1:0 at home. The only goal for the winners was scored by Oscar Trejo from the penalty spot. In the next quarter-final, "Valencia" defeated "Cadiz" club 2:1. In the first half, Valencia took the lead with a goal from Goncalo Guedes, but at the beginning of the second half, Lucas Perez equalized for the away team. However, in the 79th minute, Valencia's forward Hugo Duro had the final say. In these matches, Brian Gil, who arrived on loan from Tottenham, made his debut and played the full 90 minutes.
