On Wednesday, UEFA Champions League group stage matches continue with the fifth round of games. A dramatic battle took place in Group H, where RB Leipzig defeated Basaksehir 4-3 in the dying moments of the match. The German club controlled the game from the start, taking the lead in the 26th minute with Yussuf Poulsen's goal. In the 43rd minute, RB Leipzig doubled their advantage with Nordi Mukiele, but Basaksehir narrowed the gap in added time with a goal from Irfan Kahveci. The visitors extended their lead to two goals in the 66th minute with Dani Olmo's goal. Basaksehir, however, refused to surrender and Kahveci scored again in the 72nd minute to reduce the deficit, completing his hat-trick with a stunning penalty in the 85th minute to level the score. However, RB Leipzig had the final say in added time thanks to Alexander Sorloth, who secured a crucial victory for his team. After this victory, the German club equaled points with Manchester United, although the Red Devils played their fifth round match a bit later. Other results: Krasnodar 1-0 Rennes
