The BVB team was led by Jadon Sancho in the 20th minute. Just 3 minutes later, Lois Openda equalized the score, with his goal being confirmed only after a VAR review. Slovenian Benjamin Sesko scored a goal in the 45+2 minute and put RB Leipzig in the lead.
