On Monday evening, another 29th round of the Bundesliga matches were played. In the high-scoring match, RB Leipzig managed to defeat Koln 4:2 in the away game and secure their chances to fight for the second place. The match started more successfully for Koln, who took the lead after a goal by Jhon Cordoba in the 7th minute, but the result was equalized by Patrick Schick in the 20th minute. The visitors turned the score in their favor in the 38th minute after a goal by Christopher Nkunku, and Timo Werner doubled RB Leipzig's advantage in the 50th minute. Anthony Modeste narrowed Koln's gap in the 55th minute, but just a few minutes later, Dani Olmo secured RB Leipzig's victory. Currently, RB Leipzig trails second-placed Borussia Dortmund by two points.
