The final of the 2021-22 season 'DFB Pokal' has been revealed - it will feature the teams of 'RB Leipzig' and 'Freiburg'. Leipzig's team managed to reach the final by making a comeback in the semi-finals. In the semi-finals against 'Union' before Berlin, Dominico Tedesco's pupils fell behind 0:1, but eventually triumphed 2:1. In the first half, the Berlin team took the lead after a goal by Sheraldo Becker. In the second half, Christopher Nkunku provoked a penalty, which was successfully converted by Andre Silva. In extra time, veteran Emil Forsberg secured the victory and a ticket to the final for the team. As tradition dictates, the German cup final will take place at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
