Rafael Benitez failed to make a triumphant return to the Premier League.
Former students of the Spaniard, who descended from a lower league, began their English Championship campaign with two defeats and found themselves among the outsiders of the tournament.
In the first match, "Newcastle" lost 0-2 at home to "Tottenham", and a week later, away, they fell short with a 0-1 defeat to "Huddersfield".
"Perhaps the learning process is too fast for us. My experience tells me that in the Premier League, you have to take advantage of the opportunities you create, or else you will pay dearly," comforted Benitez.
This Saturday, "Newcastle" will face "West Ham" in front of their own supporters.
