R.Carlos: I have slept more times with Ronaldo than with my wife.

Former famous Madrid "Real" team defender Roberto Carlos spoke about the passionate adventures both in the royal team and the Brazil national team.

According to the famous athlete, players controlled the situation in the club and influenced the coaches' dismissals.

"I met Ronaldo in 1993 and since then we always shared the same room. I slept together with him more times than with my wife!

When I look back, sometimes I wonder - how can you get away with so much craziness?

After each "Real" match, private planes were waiting for us at the airport. In a separate terminal in Madrid, R. Barajas and D. Beckham went one way, L. Figo and Z. Zidane went the other, and I with Ronaldo... And the next day we had training waiting for us.

I prayed for the Spanish championship matches to be on Saturdays so that I could fly the next day to the Formula-1 races.

During the "Galaticos" era, we had seven in our team, creating a dangerous situation in the locker room. There were never any problems, but for coach J.A. Camacho, things didn't go well and his career in Madrid only lasted 10 days.

He entered the locker room, greeted everyone, and was very serious, as he was a person who had achieved a lot in the history of the "Real" team.

Then he said that training would start at 7 in the morning. Usually, the sessions started at 10:30, and we tried to persuade the coach because we had our habits," said R. Carlos.

According to him, the dismissal of another strategist, Wanderley Luxemburgo, was determined by the specialist's attempt to take alcohol away from the players before matches.

"Ronaldo and I told him that people already have formed habits and there is no need to try to change them. We said not to take away the wine because otherwise the coach would have problems.

What did he do? Initially, he banned wine, and then - beer. Luxemburgo's career in Madrid lasted three months. The football world is small, and when the directors heard about it, it was 'adios,'" said the Brazilian.
