One of the greatest left-back defenders of all time, Roberto Carlos, stated in an interview that Rafa Benitez is an excellent coach, but not as good as he will be himself.
The 42-year-old "Real" legend ended his career in 2012. Currently, the Brazilian is coaching the football players of "Al-Arabi", but emphasizes that in the future he wants to become the coach of the "White" team.
"Benitez is an excellent coach, but I will be better," said R. Carlos. "Rafa is one of the best specialists on the international stage, but in my opinion, he is not ready to coach a team of such a high level."
When asked by journalists what the former footballer's biggest dream was, R. Carlos replied: "My dream? To one day become the coach of "Real."
The 2002 World Cup champion played for "Real" for 11 years and won three UEFA Champions League titles.
